Utgi is a small service, built and maintained by one person. These terms are just as small, and they're written to be understood on the first read.

What Utgi is
A personal tool that captures what you tell it, writes to you every morning with what's on your plate and summarizes your email. It's contracted per person: you have your own installation and your own database, separate from everyone else's. I set it up for you and support you through the first week.
What Utgi doesn't do
By default it doesn't send anything for you: it writes the draft and leaves it in your inbox, and hitting send is up to you. It only sends an email, a WhatsApp message or a calendar invitation if you turn that option on, and each time with your yes (or, if you choose, only to the trusted contacts you mark). It doesn't post anything in your name, doesn't make payments and doesn't make decisions for you.
Utgi uses artificial intelligence, and sometimes it gets things wrong
It interprets what you tell it and summarizes what it reads, and it can get that wrong: misunderstand a date, summarize an email incompletely or suggest a draft in the wrong tone. That's why it always keeps your original words, and every action leaves a receipt with an undo button.
Whatever you decide based on what Utgi tells you is your responsibility. It is not legal, tax, medical or financial advice, and it's a good idea to double-check anything important before you act on it.
What I expect from you
- That the account is yours and you don't share it with anyone else: it's one installation per person.
- That you use it for your own affairs and not for anything illegal, nor for third-party data you shouldn't have.
- That you review drafts before sending them.
Price and payment
The price is agreed with you before we start, and I'll tell you clearly, with no fine print. It's paid in advance, monthly or for whatever period we agree on. There's no minimum commitment: if one month it isn't working for you, you stop.
Leaving
Just tell me and that's it, no retention call. The service stays active until the end of the period you've paid for. Before closing it I'll give you a copy of your data if you want one, and then I delete the installation within thirty days.
Availability
I try to keep it up at all times, but I won't promise you an uptime percentage I can't deliver. If something goes down, you'll see it and I'll let you know. There may be short interruptions for maintenance.
Your data
It's yours. What's stored and how it's handled is set out on the privacy page.
If this changes
If I change anything important, I'll let you know by email in advance. If you don't like the change, you can leave at no cost.
Governing law
Spanish law applies. If there were a disagreement we couldn't resolve by talking it through, it would be settled before the courts of Barcelona, unless you are a consumer, in which case the courts of your place of residence have jurisdiction.
